Martin Davis is an Associate Consultant with BRCG who specializes in public safety systems with a specific emphasis on fire services and emergency medical services. He also has considerable background in manufacturing plant operations, workforce development, workplace safety evaluation, insurance programs and motivational speaking.
Mr. Davis has over 15 years of experience in public safety, including six years in a senior management position. During this time, he successfully implemented a county-wide fire services matrix for Butts County, Georgia and constructed two fire stations under the County's Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. He also worked on the initial setup and installation of the original Butts County E-911 system as leader of the implementation team, as well as the enhancement of emergency medical services in Butts County. Prior to this, he worked for several years in sales. Mr. Davis also has seven years of experience with American Woodmark Corporation where he worked in multiple management positions concerning worker training, human resources, plant safety, OSHA coordination, workforce development training and charitable endowments through the company's foundation. Most recently, Mr. Davis has been heavily involved in the insurance industry as an assocate with Rivers Insurance Agency. His community involvement earned him the Butts County Citizen of the Year Award in 1999, the community's second highest honor for public service.
Mr. Davis has a broad and unique knowledge of both the public and private sector management practices that adds considerably to the expertise available from BRCG. He is a resident of Jackson and has a wife and stepson.
